Chairman, Soenam Jamyangling, has finally released his much anticipated autobiography. The reader takes part in the many adventures around the world and the long and hard work in Tibet. Soenam whishes that the book will inspire more people to act!

Currently the book is only avaliable in sweden at  Katselshoppen.

Together we work for the well-being of all children in the Himalayas. Since the early 1990s, the Swedish Tibetan School and Culture Association has been working to provide much-needed support to the Tibetan people and the people of the Himalayas. Education, culture and the environment are at the top of the list.

THE SCHOOL SOCIETY'S FOCUS HAS SHIFTED

Since work in Tibet has become increasingly difficult to carry out, the School Society has continued its work in the rest of the Himalayas as well. Our work takes us to Northern India, Ladakh, Bhutan and Nepal. Our aim is to support the education of the young generations, to maintain and show Tibetan culture, and to strive for the well-being of the environment in the Himalayas.

The Swedish Tibetan School and Culture Association was founded with the aim of building a school in Katsel, Tibet. The idea grew and finally 108 schools and libraries were built in Tibet...

The Swedish Tibetan School and Culture Association was founded with the aim of building a school in Katsel, Tibet. The idea grew and finally 108 schools and libraries were built in Tibet, the project was completed in 2006. Since then, the association has continued to provide support to the rest of the Himalayas.
