tought in their own native language about their own country and culture.
Globally speaking, giving Tibetan
children as good an education as possible is one of the most important
projects we are faced with today. We all have to lend a hand if this
unique culture is to survive,prosper, and develop in the future. You can make a difference by become
a child-sponsor. As a sponsor you support the Society economically.
You could support a specific child, or help support a school. The sponsor-money
goes to a shared account that is used for the childrens` food, clothes,
healthcare, school trips etc. You can also choose to support a special
project, for example a tree-planting project, growing vegetables in
the schools` gardens etc. Child-sponsors receive a photo
of ītheir` child together with information such as name, age, home-village
etc. You can send letters if you wish , in which case we
help you to translate the reply letters. Above all, and perhaps most
important of all, you get to feel the satisfaction of having helped
